Kicking 4 Celiac is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization with the goal of educating people affected by celiac disease and aims at promoting awareness. Kicking 4 Celiac has done many fundraisers and is even offering a scholarship program which will become available to graduating high school seniors in 2012. Below is information on one of their upcoming fundraisers, which will be held on Monday September 26, 2011.
Kicking 4 Celiac will be holding a golf and tennis tournament, which will benefit the Celiac Center at Columbia University. The event will be held at the Engineers Country Club in Roslyn Harbor, New York. Below is the schedule for the event:
Golf Schedule ( Rain or Shine)
9:30-11:30AM Brunch and Registration
10AM: Driving Range Opens
11:30AM: Shotgun start, refreshments & lunch on course ( GF options available)
Tennis Schedule
2PM: Registration
2:30-4:30PM: Tennis Tournament
5PM Cocktails, Silent Auction & Gift Drawings
6PM: Award Ceremony, Remarks ( Dr. Peter Green) & Dinner
Cost
One foursome: Brunch, Cocktails, Dinner $1600
Individual Golfer: Brunch, Cocktails, Dinner - $400
Tennis and Dinner: $250
Cocktails and Dinner only - $150
Gift Drawing Ticket Sheets: $20 each sheet OR 3 sheets for $60 OR 6 sheets for $100 (each ticket sheets consists of 10 chances to win)
