Thoughts About Being Gluten Free

Day # 9: Keep calm and carry on. Write (and create) your own Keep Calm and Carry On poster. Can you make it about your condition? Then go to (http://www.keepcalm-o-matic.co.uk/) and actually make an image to post to your blog.

Relief. Happiness. Overwhelmed. Hope
Are all words to describe my first year being GF

The first year was a roller coaster ride. There were amazing moments, and moments full of frustration and sadness. However as each day went on, I began to feel stronger, happier, and the glow in my face came back.

In the first year I learned an enormous amount about the gluten-free diet, but more importantly I learned  about myself.  It was a journey toward better overall health; mentally, physically, and spiritually.

There are so many different emotions that individuals face when being told they have to go gluten-free. We are all different, and there is no textbook answer as to how an individual will handle this transition. Although it can be challenging, having gluten sensitivity has always been something I am thankful for, because even though things aren't 100% with my health all the time, my life is so much better!

Positive. Growing. Life Changing
Are all words to describe my gluten-free journey
